Shimano XTR M970 Cassette 9 Speed
Shimano's M970 XTR cassette cogs offer the ultimate in reliable, smooth shifting for 9 speed drivetrains. Each cog is drilled out for lightness and mounted via a light alloy carrier that increases rigidity while reducing weight. To further reduce weight, the 4 largest cogs are constructed from titanium.
The teeth of the Shimano XTR M970 9 Speed Cassette is profiled with Shimano's proven Hyperglide design for fast and positive shifting response. The Mega-9 wide range 9 speed gearing offers close ratio gears, improving cadence control, ideal for cross country racing.
