Minoura Mag 850 Trainer w/ Remote Rim Drive
The Minoura Mag 850 Trainer is a mid level rim drive trainer for every level. Great for road or MTB riders. Constructed with super stable wide splayed legs and steel frame, the Minoura Mag 850 Trainer features a heavy 850 gram machined flywheel that provides a smooth and natural pedaling stroke. The Rim Drive system offers an effective solution to some of the issues found in tire drive trainers. This system was developed, patented, and sold exclusively by Minoura. In having the resistance generated at the rim of the bicycle wheel, the rim drive system allows the use of any kind of tire since the tire never comes in contact with the trainer's roller. This eliminates the need to change a knobby tire out for a slick tire in order to use a trainer. |
